To enhance driver comfort and on road confidence, an at-a-glance warning light cluster provides the driver with all the required warning devices and signals within the same dash location.
The smoothest looking truck in Australia also provides superior levels of comfort.
Enjoy home away from home comfort with “walk through” sleepers that offer superb levels of accommodation comfort. The cabin and sleeper have diamond pleated and studded soft trim in a range of colours and Kenworth’s unsurpassed appointments.
The T609 can be ordered in a number of different specifications to suit a large range of applications. It is suitable for maximum payload, single or multiple trailer applications with a variety of engine and horsepower options to choose from. A range of 28”, 36” or 50” integrated sleeper cabs are available, riding on airbag suspensions for even greater comfort.
Chassis Frame Layout
Kenworth trucks can be built to a variety of wheelbases with components mounted on to the frame to suit your needs. We optimise the strength of each frame by locating the various parts so that loads are evenly spread and fuel tank capacity can be maximised. Battery boxes are positioned to minimise the length of battery cables for ease of starting and improved charging.
